| Jo Hastings, here with Liz Muskat and Sharon Khurdan, recently began keeping bees at her Westchester home after going to a class on beekeeping at Wave Hill in the Bronx. And there’s a real estate connection—Robert Moses planted many linden trees during his development days, and she says linden honey is “just wonderful.” She still has another year until harvest, but perhaps we’ll see a honey tasting at one of NYCREW’s future events.
