Taubman Plans $500M Mall Redevelopment

The Beverly Center is about to get a $500M makeover.

Taubman Centers Inc is planning a host of renovations to the mall, including more natural light, upgraded parking and a new food area with nine new restaurants, according to Curbed.

The mall will stay open during renovation. Macy's and Bloomingdale's will remain as the mall's anchors.

Renovations are expected to be completed in time for the holidays in 2018. [Curbed]
