Cushman & Wakefield Taps Industry Vet David Gorelick To Head Retail Platform

Industry vet and former executive at Simon Property Group and Ralph Lauren Corp. David Gorelick has been tapped to run Cushman & Wakefield’s retail platform.

David Gorelick Joins Cushman & Wakefield As Executive Managing Director And Head Of Retail For The Americas.

As executive managing director and head of retail for the Americas, Gorelick will oversee client relationships and further the commercial real estate brokerage's retail practice by expanding its tenant representation and agency leasing services, the firm announced last week.

Gorelick joins C&W from his role as vice president at Simon Property Group where he oversaw worldwide retail accounts for a 31M SF portfolio. Prior to Simon Property, he worked for eight years in various roles at Ralph Lauren.

Gorelick brings 15-plus years of experience to his new post at C&W. He will work with C&W Logistics & Industrial practice group head John Morris to coordinate e-commerce and brick-and-mortar supply chain strategies for clients.

“As we deepen the commitment to our retail practice, we’re thrilled to have someone of David’s caliber at the helm to spearhead our strategy and drive growth across the Americas,” C&W Chief Operating Officer Todd Schwartz said in a statement.
