MICHIGAN: Active Shooter Drill Held at Mall

This morning, the Mall of Monroe in Monroe County, MI, held a training exercise in which three gunmen posed as economic terrorists, killing three and injuring seven. Multiple police, fire and EMS agencies participated in the training, which happened before the mall opened. Mall and property manager Rhonda Howard told Monroe News that having people with bloody makeup play the role of victims as heavily armed officers swarm the mall is disturbing but necessary, noting, "It is scary, but it's scarier not to be prepared."
