Clinton Backed By Republican REIT Exec, Real Estate Business Leaders

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton received major endorsements from several Republican business leaders today—including a handful of REIT and real estate business execs.

As the general elections near, the Democratic candidate seeks to challenge Donald Trump’s assertion that he is the best candidate for US businesses.

Prologis chairman and CEO Hamid Moghadam was among the businessmen to endorse Clinton, Bloomberg reports.

Other endorsements include Peter Lowy, CEO of megamall developer Westfield; James Murren, CEO of publicly traded REIT MGM Growth Properties; and Airbnb co-founders Brian Chesky and Nathan Blecharczyk. [Bloomberg]
