Advanced communications (aka, the thing you use to watch Netflix streaming) ranks just behind location, price, and parking according to 90% of the respondents to a Comcast Communications survey of nearly 500 BOMA members. For 2M SF-plus properties, the service ties with location for first priority. 61% say it gives their properties a competitive advantage. That jumps to 71% in the South. Managers of academic buildings take note: A third of your cohorts say they can charge higher lease rates.
