Two Houston Krispy Kreme Locations to Open Next Month

Houston, we have doughnuts. Two new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts store are slated to open next month, the first Houston-area locations for the brand in nearly a decade.

A store at the site of a former Arby’s at 8611 Westheimer Rd will open in mid-October. It will be joined by a location at 5611 Highway 6, which has been built from the ground up and is on track to open around the same time.

Two additional locations are on tap for Houston by year’s end. The strength of the area's retail market has piqued the interest of the warm doughnut purveyors. Krispy Kreme plans additional storefronts for 2016 and is targeting Baytown, Katy and Pearland. [HBJ]
