Trammell Crow is actively pursuing retail development sites, and already has a few big projects lined up along the Grand Parkway.
CBRE VP Jazz Hamilton (pictured front and center with almost the entire CB retail team—it’s been growing) is working on leasing TCC’s upcoming retail projects, including Grand Crossing in Katy. Costco has opened there, and he’s working on several higher-end anchors and restaurants that’ll finish out the project. In Richmond, TCC is partnering with Johnson Development in Harvest Green. It’s an exciting partnership, Jazz says, and the developer is planning a very large power center. It’s also doing a big-box development at 2920 and 99. Jazz says big-box power centers aren’t back with a vengeance yet—grocers are still the go-to anchor—but they’re starting to trickle back as retail development picks up steam.
