Tacodeli Is Coming To Houston

This fall, Austin-based Tacodeli will open its first Houston location at 1902 Washington. The operation prides itself on using organic eggs, high-quality proteins, non-GMO organic corn tortillas, and chips. Tacodeli was founded in 1999; today there are five locations in Austin and one in Dallas. A spokesperson tells us there are no other Tacodeli locations in the works at this time.

Tacodeli will enter a very crowded taco market. In addition to the plethora of Tex-Mex and taqueria options like Pappasitos and Berryhill, it will compete against a slew of specialty taco shops like Torchy's, Fuzzy's and Velvet Taco as well as the dozens of food trucks with tacos.
