Retail Powerhouse Moves to Houston

VCC Construction has been building in Houston for 27 years, but set down permanent roots in June with the opening of its new office at 1177 W Loop South, says VCC CEO Sam Alley (left, with VPs Duane Gilley and John Davenport, and project manager Nick Carsten). Sam tells us the office is working on a number of local projects including the massive River Oaks District mixed-use development for Oliver McMillan. It’s completed multiple renovations/expansions of the Houston Galleria, The Woodlands Mall renovation/expansion, DoubleTree Suites Galleria renovation, Westway Village Apartments, Santikos Theater, West Oaks Mall, and Willowbrook Mall. Sam tells us that clients are continuing to see serious growth in the Houston market and are renovating and expanding their assets to stay ahead of that growth.
