The River Oaks District is getting a unique fitness facility, calling itself “the transition from lunge to lounge.” The 33k SF Equinox River Oaks includes gym and full-service spa facilities (including juice bar and daycare offerings), but also has a 685 SF shop selling Beyond Yoga, Splits 59, Alo, Vince, Bella Lux, and Twenty & Stateside brands. As befits the River Oaks District, Equinox will have a luxury design. The facility is opening its pre-sale office in late May, and the club will be ready for squats and massages in late November/early December.
