High-End Bowling Alley Opening In City Centre

Dallas-based FreeRange Concepts is set to open a new high-end bowling alley in City Centre that’s focused on food first, bowling second. The 16k SF Bowl & Barrel will include a European beer hall and American-style cuisine, according to the Houston Business Journal.

Co-owners Kyle Noonan and Joshua Sepkowitz (whom we wrote all about in our Dallas pub) debuted locations in Dallas and San Antonio, and have been looking to enter Houston for a while. They selected City Centre because of its strong daytime population and convenient location.

Scheduled to open sometime this spring, Bowl & Barrel is just one of many high-end entertainment/food concepts coming to Houston. Companies like Bowlmor AMF, Showbiz Cinemas and Flix Brewhouse have announced plans to open in the Houston area over the next few years. [HBJ]
