Famous Killen's BBQ To Enter The Burger Business

Ronnie Killen, the chef behind Houston’s favorite BBQ, plans to open his much-anticipated burger joint just in time for National Burger Day on May 28. Construction began at the former location of Killen’s Steakhouse at 2804 Main St in Pearland earlier this month, the Houston Business Journal reports. Killen’s Steakhouse has since reopened in a much larger space.

The burger restaurant will have a 1950s diner vibe, featuring milkshakes and an old-fashioned soda fountain. The new Killen’s will also feature select craft beers to wash down the delicious burgers and buns. Surely it won’t be long before JJ Watt stops by[HBJ]
