C&W’S NEW DIGS; MARC HOLLIDAY

Last night, we dropped by Cushman & Wakefield’s new digs at 1290 Avenue of the Americas, where it moved a hop, skip, and a jump away from its former 51 W. 52nd home at the end of October.
We snapped this pic of The Durst Org.’s Tom Bow, REBNY prez Steven Spinola, Columbia University’s Devon Ercolano Provan and Vishaan Chakrabarti, Cushman’s new co-chair of the board Bruce Mosler, and The Durst Org. prez Doug Durst enjoying the new space. The 166k-SF 7th, 8th, and partial 9th-floors are a consolidation of three locations, which also include 1350 Avenue of the Americas and 712 Fifth, previously occupied by Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick Goldman. Vornado’s Todd Bassen is heading off to scuba dive in Cozmuel, and the day he returns, he’s picking up a golden retriever puppy named Iko (like the Grateful Dead staple “Iko Iko,” which according to our Googling, is a New Orleans song about a parade collision between Mardi Gras Indians). Joining him are Cushman's Richard Baxter and Fried Frank’s Jonathan Mechanic.
