Jersey Mike's Targets Southwest

We tried to keep from salivating as we askedJersey Mikes Jeff Sponsler and John Teza about the sub shops plans for 125 new stores this year, with the biggest growth targeted for California, Florida, Texas, Illinois Michigan, Washington, and Arizona. Thats not to say Denver--with eight Jersey Mikes operating--is being ignored. It just opened Pikes Peak first eatery and plans to open another five in the area. We are targeting the southwest quadrant of Denver, John says, adding the young demographics, high income, and active lifestyles are ideal demos for Jersey Mikes. Denver is a great restaurant market.
