Recently Thornton Tomasetti tapped Allen Thompson as VP in its Denver office. For 17 years, he was with WSP Group in NYC, where he managed several large projects, including the 45,000-seat CitiField, home to the Mets, and Citicorp’s 1.5M SF Court Square Two, both in Queens; and the 1M SF Bronx Criminal Court. What does he like about our humble town? “Denver’s economy will continue to outpace the nation,” he says. “All of the indicators—population, employment, housing—bode well for an increasing volume of construction projects.”
