Fuqua To Return?

We have our update on the University of Colorado Hospital redevelopment. Fuqua Development's Jeff Fuqua is pursuing the project again, this time with a unnamed partner. We spoke with Jeff in Atlanta who tells us he's rebidding to become the master developer of the proposed 26-acre redevelopment. Jeff wouldn't disclose who he has partnered with, but tells us he has a "national developer/private equity organization" JV'ing with him on his proposal. (We're accepting any and all guesses.) Colorado University is seeking bids on the property by Oct. 18. "No one knows that site better than us," Jeff says. We also reported last week that Alliance Residential Co is under contract to buy a portion of the land for a 325-unit apartment development.
