DIGITAL REALTY EXPANDS DENVER

We have instituted a new policy: If reporting on data centers and we are unable to round up a relevant image, we’ll resort to using one of Star Trek’s Data (here with a cat for some inexplicable reason). This warm and fuzzy picture will represent Digital Realty Trust’s fresh purchase of 11900 East Cornell Rd, a 286k SF data center and office complex in Aurora.
 
The terms of the buy were undisclosed, but the building includes 170k SF of data center space and is more than 90% leased. This expands Digital Realty’s holdings in Denver, where it already operates a center at 8534 Concord Center Dr. We can actually use a picture of the data center for this.
