We're no Minneapolis (77%), but Denver is in the top 10 for us cities and percentage of green commercial space, according to the 2014 Green Building Adoption Index, put together by CBRE and Maastricht U. Denver came in at No. 7 at 49.4% (c’mon, can we get to an even 50%?). San Francisco and Chicago came in No 2 and 3, respectively. Colorado’s state office buildings, for example, are now among the most energy-efficient in the country.
