| Maryland-based ByteGrid is in talks to buy an unidentified 200k SF-plus data center in the Denver metro area, CEO Ken Parent (center told a packed house during our Data Center Investment Conference & Expo (aka, DICE) event in DC yesterday. He's next to Sabey Data Centers' CEO John Sabey and Dupont Fabros' Scott Davis. “We go into secondary markets where we see a lot of underserved demand,” Ken says (they're like the knights of the round table riding into cities that need data centers), highlighting Denver as one of those preferred “second-tier” markets. | |

| Yesterday morning, we wrapped up DICE, where 500 joined us in DC for a two-day event. Above, Tishman Technologies’ Martin O’Neill, Integrated Design’s Gary Murphy, and Tishman Construction’s Harry McCall during our schmooze session. With 20% growth, Integrated will be hiring. Current projects: 1.2M SF Digital Realty data center in Ashburn, Va.; 10k SF data center for the Royal Bank of Scotland in Providence; a “big” data center for Bank of America in Richardson, Texas; and a 5k SF “high performance research computing center” at the UC-Santa Barbara).
