Hermansen Land Development (the guys behind Richardson Restaurant Park) closed last month on land in Cedar Hill for the development of a small retail lot, and has already signed a delicious tenant. McAlister's Deli signed a lease for 4k SF within the development. R Taco will also open about 3k SF. Formerly a Home Depot parking lot, the 8k SF property sits at the intersection of Highway 67 and Belt Line Road. TxDOT's 2014 traffic counts show that Highway 67 sees about 65,000 vehicles each day and Belt Line Road sees about 28,000. Lease negotiations are underway for an additional retail space and a 3k SF end cap remains available for lease, Kirk Hermansen tells us.
