Look Who We Saw at TREC's Giving Gala

TREC’s annual Giving Gala made some big changes this year, moving to Gilley’s on the South Side. We promised no photos of brokers riding (or falling off) mechanical bulls, but we did find a headline-maker in the crowd: former head of Cresa Dallas Susan Arledge—now a managing director at E Smith Realty. We snapped Susan (second from right) with C3 Asset Management’s Peter Trilikis, Chicago Title Co’s Dennis Noebel and Lindsay Buzbee. Susan tells us she’s a longtime friend of E Smith co-founder Sharon Morrison. The pair both started their tenant rep careers with Roger Staubach. (And, apparently, they both like working with Hall of Fame Dallas Cowboys players.) We also found out that Peter and Lindsay will be tying the knot on May 28. Congrats to them and to Susan.

We found Provident Realty Advisors’ Steve Bronner and Colliers International’s Daniel Rudd talking shop. Daniel tells us he and partner Billy Vahrenkamp inked a full-floor lease at Graystone Centre for Saulsbury Industries and also negotiated an opportunity for building signage for their client. Notice Daniel’s tan? He just returned from a Florida trip with Colliers’ colleagues for top producers.

We snapped Bisnow Texas business development manager Karen Pierre and her husband, Jack. Karen was recently selected to the CREW Dallas 2016 board of directors. She tells us she’s also still searching for sponsors for Bisnow’s Dec. 16 power players women’s event featuring a fireside chat with Billingsley Co’s Lucy Billingsley. Shoot her an email and hop on board.

Of course, if you sit still at the Bisnow table long enough, we’re going to snap your photo, too. Here’s Prudential Asset Resources' Sandra Poortvliet Beeching and colleague Mukesh Patel. No comment on who ate all the popcorn at the Bisnow table, but Sandra may know. If you ask her nicely, she may share her selfie with Giving Gala’s country music performer, Jana Kramer.
