Former American Airlines HQ Inks First Major Tenant After Its Sale

A building that once functioned as part of American Airlines’ headquarters is now home to aerospace manufacturer Bell Textron Inc.

Bell Textron Inks Deal To Lease Former American Airlines Campus Building.

The Textron subsidiary inked a deal to lease 109K SF inside 4151 Amon Carter Blvd., a facility in Fort Worth that once housed the American Airlines Federal Credit Union and is part of the 1.39M SF office campus that American Airlines sold to Austin-based Capital Commercial Investments earlier this year.

American Airlines moved its headquarters staff into a newly developed office campus in 2019.

Bell Textron is the first major tenant signed by Capital Commercial Investments since acquiring the three-building office campus. The building will serve as home to Bell Commercial Business Center's roughly 600 employees.

The 40-acre corporate campus still has 6.3 acres of undeveloped land to offer potential purchasers and developers along with office leasing opportunities at 4333 and 4255 Amon Carter Blvd.

Transwestern, which assisted in the sale of the campus earlier this year, is now providing leasing services on behalf of the new owner, with Duane Henley and Nathan Durham overseeing the process. Transwestern’s Becky Dennis also is helping the new owner by managing the campus.
