Good Times Restaurants Inc is acquiring the local chain Bad Daddy’s International for $21M. The deal means that Bad Daddy's, which was founded in 2007, will become a subsidiary of Colorado-based Good Times. Previously, Good Times acquired a 48% stake in the Charlotte-based company, including the rights to develop Bad Daddy's-branded restaurants in Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. There are currently 13 Bad Daddy’s restaurants in six markets, and five more will open this year. [CBJ]
