Flexible workplace provider Regus renewed its space, nearly 22K SF, at 525 North Tryon St. in Uptown, taking a 10-year lease. Grubb Properties executive vice president Joe Dye attributed the move in part to the property's recent repositioning, as well as the appeal of the North Tryon Corridor.

525 North Tryon, which is owned by New York Life, recently added such amenities as Club 525, a fitness center; a bike storage room; a free electric car shuttle that will transport tenants throughout Uptown; a conferencing center with both open collaborative space and traditional layouts; and an EV charging station.

As for the corridor, nearby developments include a new multifamily building, a dance theater and the extension of the Blue Line, which will open later this year. A Publix grocery store will also open in the area.

Grubb Properties’ Jonathan Nance repped the landlord, while JLL's Brannan Moss, Jennifer Ziegler and Jim Thorp repped Regus.
