Portman to Begin 370k SF Office Tower

Portman Holdings will break ground next month on 615 South College, a 370k SF office tower next to the Westin Charlotte, and above its parking garage. Atlanta-based Portman expects to complete the property, which will go for LEED Gold, in Q4 2016. That would be ahead of 300 South Tryon, which broke ground late last year and will be completed in early '17, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. Another nearby development is Crescent Communities' Tryon Place, which will break ground later this year and be complete by '18. [CBJ]
