Office Furniture Designer Knoll Inks Lease At New 300 South Tryon

Knoll, a designer and furniture manufacturer, signed a lease for 4k SF on the fourth floor of 300 South Tryon in Uptown, which is under construction for completion in Q2. In collaboration with other designers, Knoll produces office systems, seating, files and storage, tables and desks, and accessories. The company will be designing its own showroom at 300 South Tryon, the Charlotte Business Journal reports, and will occupy the space in the fall.

The property is being developed by Spectrum Properties and Barings Real Estate Advisers, and will be LEED Gold. The building will be home to global asset management firm Barings when complete, and have a connected Kimpton Hotel. The structure will also include a two-story lobby and linear outdoor promenade linking Tryon Street to Romare Bearden Park and Third Ward. JLL's Bryan White and Ross Howard repped Knoll. [CBJ]
