| San Francisco-based Stockbridge Capital Group came all the way to town to acquire two office buildings, Toringdon 6 and 8, for an undisclosed price. Together the buildings total 200k SF at the Toringdon Office Park along I-485 in South Charlotte. Stockbridge exec managing director Steve Steppe tells us the deal is part of the company's expansion into the Southeast, where it sees favorable demographics; near term, the company plans to spend about $236M in the region. He cites the fact that metro Charlotte is expected to be one of the top job-creating metros in the US. | ||
