French Internet technology company Capgemini says it'll soon open a large-scale office in Charlotte, likely uptown, for its more than 550 workers. That's great news for uptown Charlotte, where office vacancy has been pushing nearly 10%. Now the big question: where will it wind up? Capgemini is working with Rob Hinton of Jones Lang LaSalle in its search for space. It's a safe bet it'll be high profile, but Rob didn't get back to us by deadline. We'll be keeping an eye out for anyone searching uptown for gooey cheese and a subtle Chardonnay.
