New leases


Architectural and engineering firm HDR has expanded local operations by 8,500 SF to a total of almost 57k SF at the Ally Center uptown. The firm was the building's first tenant when it opened in 2009. It will now occupy all of the 8th, 9th, and 10th floors.Leah Bailey of Trinity Partners repped the building ownership, Trinity Capital Advisors. Jeff Harper of Jones Lang LaSalle repped HDR.

New hires


Steve Garrett
 recently joined RED Partners' brokerage division.  Steve will provide office leasing and sales services to office and medical office clients throughout the Carolinas, as well as pursue office development opportunities. He joins RED Partners from CBRE in Charlotte, where he was an office broker.

Correction


CBRE brokers Patrick GildeaAdam Basch and Ryan Clutter repped the buyer, a JV between DC-based Perseus Realty Partners and Ferncroft Capital, in the sale of the Park Avenue building on South Boulevard. McKinley Associates? Carter Collison repped the seller, an affiliate of real estate investment firm The Lionstone Group.
