The Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors recently held its Commercial Spotlight networking event at uptown?s Ally Center. Among those attending were Matrix Real Estate Services? Brian Hoffman, Spectrum Properties' Jill Ecuyer, and Jones Lang LaSalle's Brad Cherry.

 

Leases

 

Retailer Blacklion leased more than 14k SF under a six-year term at Dilworth Gardens shopping center, 1412 East Blvd. It was repped by Percival McGuire Commercial Real Estate's Rush Dunaway. Merrifield Patrick Vermillion's Brad Murr and Keely Lane repped the landlord, Dilworth Gardens.

Kelly Pipe Co, HQ?d in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., recently leased 108k SF of warehouse and office space at 9925 Brookford St. in Charlotte. The company distributes carbon steel pipe to wholesalers throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. NAI Southern Real Estate's Joe Wilkinson repped the building owner and Merrifield Patrick Vermillion's Robby Kirby repped Kelly Pipe.

New Hires

 

Charlotte-based Lincoln Harris recently expanded its Raleigh operations with the addition of Gary Lyons and Barry Wagner. Gary, a 12-year CRE veteran, was recruited from the Raleigh office of Sperry Van Ness. He'll be working with Lincoln Harris? Corporate Services Group. Barry has joined Lincoln Harris? Raleigh office as a broker and will focus on office, medical, flex, land, and industrial space. Barry formerly worked in corporate sales for IBM.
