Roll out the red carpet for HVM LLC, manager of a variety of extended stay hotel brands; it's moving from Spartanburg, S.C., in a corporate HQ relocation expected to bring 170 new jobs to Charlotte in the next three years; annual salaries will average $83,580. HVM will lease about 63k SF at the 150k SF Everett Building (above) in Ballantyne. HVM, which runs 685 hotels employing 9,000 in the US and Canada, will spend about $3.6M upfitting the new space. Local functions will include administrative, financial, marketing, HR, and facility maintenance support. The company operates such hotels as Extended Stay America, Extended Stay Deluxe Hotels, Homestead Suites, and StudioPlus. Lincoln Harris' Jubal EarlyCampbell WalkerTed Haley and Carter Houchins repped HVM; The Bissell Cos' Barry Fabyan repped the building owner.
