SILVER LAKE MANUFACTURING SOUGHT

The treasure is buried somewhere on this map. Charlotte-based M. David Properties is asking the City of Charlotte to allow one of its tenants to do light manufacturing at Silver Lake, the property owner?s industrial park off D. Ducks Lane and Westinghouse Boulevard. It's mostly a technical change that would allow tenant Polygal to install a plastic extruder that creates the plastic sheeting used in greenhouses, M. David's Marc Silverman tells us. A public hearing is scheduled for March 19.
