The Cary office of Singh Development is proposing a seniors and assisted living project on 14 acres at Providence Road just south of Providence Country Club. (The Rochester, Mich. company included this fine rendering in their rezoning packet.) The recently filed petition says the development will follow Singh?s Waltonwood design format and house 106 independent living units and 80 dependent beds, as well as corresponding common areas, activity rooms, and support facilities. (A development cost wasn't available.) The company's seniors living properties, concentrated in North Carolina, Virginia and Michigan, typically offer services that include memory care, respite care, and fitness. Singh is seeking a zoning change to institutional from single-family. A public hearing on the request is set for May 16. |
