REIT BUYS PERIMETER WOODS

Inland Real Estate Acquisitions recently scooped up several retail properties in North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, including the $54M acquisition of Perimeter Woods Shopping Center in Charlotte. Oak Brook, Ill.-based Inland, on behalf of affiliate Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust, also bought three Walgreens-anchored shopping centers— one each in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Total acquisition value was almost $81M. The purchase of Perimeter Woods increases Inland Diversified?s retail footprint in the Charlotte market, Inland?s Matt Tice tells us. The 303k SF Perimeter Woods is about 97% leased. Anchors include Best Buy, Lowe?s Home Improvement, PetSmart, Off Broadway Shoes, and Office Max. Charlotte-based Collett & Associates was the seller.
