The number of Slim Jims and Freezonis per capita is about to rise. Charlotte-based CRE services firm Merrifield Patrick Vermillion repped Fordham Park landlord The Griffith Group in a 13k SF lease to QuikTrip at Fordham Park on Griffith Road near I-77; it will use the space as a service and distribution center for its local convenience stores. Tulsa, Okla.-based QuikTrip leased the space. The $9B chain also recently announced plans to open at least 40 Charlotte stores in five years. It operates more than 580 stores in 10 states and employs more than 10,000 nationally. Merrifield Patrick Vermillion's Billy Thomas and Stephen Woodard repped Griffith.
