NEW SOUTH PICKS UP MORRIS PARK

New South Properties has just been hired to handle leasing and management at Morris Park, 90k SF of office and flex space at Matthews-Mint Hill and Lebanon roads. It's five buildings and 40 acres for future expansion, owned by Z.M. Park. New South?s Will Whitley (above) tells us the firm has hired Kenny Smith (from Legacy) to lead New South?s office and medical leasing, and Morris Park will be his first big assignment. Anchors so far include Messer Financial and American Community Bank, which recently renewed for 10 years. New leases have been signed with IT firm ECS and Realty World. Office space in the park leases for about $9 to $15/SF. Flex space goes for $4.50 to $5.
