?Buy-the-room? furniture company Rooms To Go has leased 180k SF of distribution space at 1531 Tarheel Rd in Chemway Industrial Park in Charlotte's NW submarket. Following extensive renovations by the property owners (the Robert T. Godley Family repped by Pete Godley), the building replaces the 160k SF distribution operation Rooms to Go previously occupied in Ft. Mill, SC. The move gives the retailer more space for growth and helps ensure next-day delivery. The new center also is closer to the company's Charlotte stores.
