MARBACH TO OPEN US HQ IN QC

Germany-based Karl Marbach GmbH & Co, a global manufacturer of steel rule dies for the packaging industry, is negotiating a 15k SF lease in SW Charlotte—its first US manufacturing site. The $3M operation will create 30 new jobs and is expected to be fully functional by Q2 ?12, Marbach?s Bernd Klenk tells us. Marbach has been scouting the city with the Charlotte Chamber's Justin Hunt. Jones Lang LaSalle's Brad Cherry and Pete Pittroff have been repping a prospective landlord in lease negotiations. Brad?s keeping the site mum until a lease is signed.
