Save for a few Pauly Shore cassettes that fell behind a shelf, the oldBlockbuster off Park Road has been empty about a year. But if you miss the popcorn, you'll soon be able to pick up some cotton candy (flavored yogurt). TCBY, the hand-dipped frozen yogurt maker, is opening in March in about 1,800 SF in the former video outlet at Montford Abbey Shopping Center. Preston ?Fred? Griffith of the Charlotte-based E.C. Griffith Co is the landlord and expects a styling salon to move soon into some of the remaining vacant space. The Providence Group's Bryan Wycker represented TCBY (which sounds like the most delicious job in the world).
