| Yesterday, we felt old watching a new generation of kids trick-or-treat. Which makes this news even sweeter: Wood Partners is almost finished building its $13M Steele Creek Seniors community in southwest Charlotte. The company has received certificates of occupancy for the amenity areas, leasing office, and clubhouse, as well as 54 units. The property already is 50% leased and the first move-ins began this month, Wood Partners' Ray Smith tells us. Wood Partners broke ground on the affordable, 120-unitcommunity almost a year ago. The project was done jointly with the Charlotte Housing Authority. |
