CaroMont Health just introduced the first of at least four CliC clinics for the greater Charlotte area. The 4,600-SF Convenient Local Immediate Care clinic is in Mountain Island Lake, just over the Mecklenburg border from CaroMont?s Gastonia-based affiliate hospital, Gaston Memorial. CaroMont officials shown at a recent ribbon cutting are Anu Murthy, Valinda Rutledge, Spurgeon Mackie, and Rowena Timms. The clinic?s thrust is greater than immediate care, though. The concept focuses on helping patients not only with bruises and broken bones but with tips on better diet, reducing stress, and general ?wellness.? The first CliC clinic was built in existing space, but the three planned for construction over the next year or so will be freestanding. |
