| Audio-visual equipment company SnapAV recently expanded its Charlotte operations to more than 150k SF in two buildings at Continental Boulevard. We recently talked with Cardinal Real Estate Partners' John Culbertson, who repped SnapAV. He tells us the company looked into the fact that office/distribution options in SW Charlotte were narrowing. ?There are really no new developments being planned, and this space gave them the opportunity for growth,? John says. No one involved would give us dollar figures on the lease rates, but apparently SnapAV got a great deal for a long term (much like a gym membership . . . so we're told). The company launched in Charlotte about six years ago in 45k SF at the nearby Brookwood Business Park. It has since grown and not only in Charlotte.
