HQ SALE DRIVES CONTINENTAL TIRE

Continental Tire?s 75k SF Fort Mill HQ building has been sold for$15M, a sale price based on a 16k SF expansion planned for next year. (That's looking down the road.)
 
The sale is considered somewhat ?unorthodox,? since it's based on what the building size will be after it's expanded next summer, David Burdette of Marcus & Millichap?s Atlanta office tells us. (It's like betting on the Panthers to win the 2015 Super Bowl.) David repped the seller, Charlotte-based Forsite Development. M&M?s Jamie Medress and Mark Ruble, each of the firm's Phoenix office, repped the buyer, Investors Associated LLP.
