Union County?s Indian Trail community is not sitting idly by watching retail dollars pour into adjoining Mecklenburg. Dennis Moser of theThe Moser Group Inc. hopes to capture a piece of the hundreds of millions he estimates leave Union County every year as a result of local residents seeking top-notch shopping venues outside Union County. His latest coup has been landing a 14-screen Stone Theatreat Sun Valley Commons, a Moser development now entering its third phase. Stone officials would not release a construction cost. Moser says he's had strong interest recently from additional restaurants and other retailers, as well. So far, it's paying off: Even though the theater isn't built yet, 15,000 teenage girls are already lined up outside to see Justin Bieber's Never Say Never. |
