(HELP ME STAY) ALIVE AFTER FIVE

Charlotte's formal bow to impending summer kicked off uptown recently when Alive After Five rocked into its 10th year. Presented by AT&T, the yearly festival fills uptown streets with food, live performances, and thousands of revelers. For the balance of April, Alive After Five events will be based at Wells Fargo Plaza (above), but will shift to the Bud Light Pavilion at the EpiCentre at Trade and College streets starting May 5. The party will reboot every Thursday evening until Sept. 15. Rainy weather shouldn?t be a problem this year. The Pavilion will erect two enormous tents to keep patrons dry and offer rainy day drink specials for those who still like it wet.
