| Costa Rica?s foreign trade minister Anabel Gonzalez was in town this week to check out Charlotte's potential as a business partner. Anabel oversees Costa Rica's international trade and investment portfolios. She spent much of her two-day trip last week meeting with business groups. She also delivered a speech at the World Affairs Council breakfast uptown. Anabel explained that Costa Rica is a small country, and while all the tourism is welcome, the Central American oasis has much more to offer, including the manufacture and development of devices used in the automotive, medical, and electronics industries. |
