Seafood restaurant McCormick & Schmick?s Beth Burleson was dishing up seviche earlier this week at the 11th Annual Picnic at SouthPark. The Charlotte Chamber's SouthPark Chapter hosts the ever-popular networking event, which this year drew 700 who braved ominous skies to pack the Symphony Pavilion. The sun finally poked through as the vinegary aroma of Carolina BBQ wafted through the air. |
Brady Drummond-Ryan of HOA management company Cedar Management Group, sporting Ray-Bans and a Panama hat, was pressing the flesh from his company booth. Brady (with colleagues Joshua Hartshorne and Jason Phelps) says the Picnic at SouthPark is something he looks forward to for the networking, but it's the spread that keeps him coming back. "We sponsor several events a year that involve business cards and food." |
