CBRE SELLS GERBER VILLAGE

CBRE's Charlotte office recently sold Ashville?s mixed-used Gerber Village for $9M. Gerber Village contains: seven apartments totaling 8,000 SF; 60k SF of retail; and about 28k SF of office space in eight buildings. The development is anchored by Office Depot. Other tenants include Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Frankie Bones Restaurant & Lounge. (Oddly enough, no Gerber baby products on site.) CBRE's Mike Burkard and Steve Shields repped the seller, HMP Properties. Key Commercial Real Estate of Asheville repped the buyer, Babyfish Two LLC.
