BRAD’S BREW TAKES ON OVERSTREET

Owners of New York-based The Restaurant Group, which owns and operates nine Fuel Pizza restaurants in Charlotte, just introduced Brad?s Brew to the Overstreet Mall. It's a new, 1,500 SF breakfast-and-lunch eatery catering to the uptown business crowd. (The?brew? refers to coffee btw.) The group has seen the Brad?s concept work at stores at NYU and Columbia University and decided to bring it to Charlotte. All the partners were in town for the grand opening:Doug ConverseLincoln ClarkJeremy Wladis, and Zach Current. Menu items include fresh salads, smoothies and big fat NY-style deli sandwiches. The store handed out 500 menus in one hour during the opening day lunch crunch. The Nichols Co's George Kornegay repped Brad?s. Spectrum Properties' Trudy Dixon repped the landlord.
